In a recent Office Hours session, we took a quick look at how agencies across Iowa are already using Qualtrics. It was a great chance to see what Qualtrics can do and how it’s already helping agencies. We also want to share more examples and ideas that might be useful for your agency.
Here are some of the most popular uses:
- Contact Us forms with a closed-loop system
- Scheduling requests
- Customer surveys with interactive dashboards
- Application forms
- Complaint submission forms
- Digital feedback tools
- Intake forms
- Converting fillable PDFs into online forms
- Replacing Google Forms or Microsoft Forms
- Quizzes and assessments
Real Examples from Iowa Agencies
Below are just a few examples of how agencies are using Qualtrics and some of the early wins. The platform is already helping agencies work more efficiently and improve services for state of Iowa constituents.
Feedback Tabs and Digital Experience Analytics (DXA) are now on more than 40 DX websites.
Key Wins:
Department of Transportation used the feedback submissions and DXA data on its Scheduling Appointment page (which had over 2 million views in 90 days) to identify user frustrations. This insight led to a proposed content redesign and potential DX enhancements to improve the constituent experience.
- Other agencies have reported using feedback submissions and DXA data to improve their websites. By looking at where users were having trouble, they made content changes to make it easier for people to find what they needed.
IGOV Forms
The Scheduling Request, Request a Greeting, Proclamation Request, and Internship Application forms were converted from Microsoft Forms to Qualtrics.
We recently launched the America 250 Event Request form to support public engagement as we prepare to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States.
Key Wins:
- Replaced Microsoft Forms for four key forms
- Aligned with Iowa Brand guidelines for look and feel
- Meet accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA)
- Resolved urgent form rebuilds promptly
- Streamlined processes and workflows for greater efficiency (i.e.: closed-loop system)
Office Hours Reminder
Make sure to block time on your calendar for Office Hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We want to make sure you have time to join us and get the support you need.
We’re here twice a week to answer questions, offer guidance, and help you get the most out of Qualtrics.
Special Note: Qualtrics experts will be on-site in Iowa this Thursday, so that they won’t be joining Office Hours. But the DOM DoIT team will still be available to help with any questions or support you need.
