Welcome to the latest Qualtrics bulletin! We've got new product releases, a brand-new guide to help you set up your own closed-loop ticket system, and a great highlight story to share with you this issue.
Heads-Up for the August 17–21 Week
With Form Fest happening that week, resources will be limited. There will be no Office Hours or 1:1 bookings, and reviews or approvals may take a little longer than usual.
Thank you for planning ahead and for your understanding!
Highlight Story
We want to showcase real success stories from our colleagues to highlight what is possible and celebrate their achievements.
Today, we recognize Tammi Blackstone, Laura Roeder-Grubb, and the Department of Management (DOM) for building a smarter way to manage justice data requests from the public. What started as a need for better tracking and accountability turned into an organized, easy-to-use system that documents every request from start to finish.
Agency: DOM - Department of Management
Creators: Tammi Blackstone, Laura Roeder-Grubb
Project: Justice Data Request Form
Details: DOM's data and research team needed a way to receive and track justice data requests from the public in a way that was organized and allowed for internal tracking and accountability. With support from Qualtrics, Tammi and Laura built a customized data request form that gives the public an easy, straightforward way to submit requests. The form allows the team to store PDFs alongside each request, documenting data-sharing permissions as well as the results shared with each requester.
The new system helps DOM better serve Iowans by ensuring no data requests are missed or delayed, and it gives the team a reliable way to assess internal performance measures. Looking ahead, the team is planning a Phase 2 that brings true CX by gathering feedback directly from the citizens they serve.
Great job, Tammi, Laura, and DOM!

Qualtrics Product Releases
We're excited about the new feature enhancements Qualtrics released this month. We created a landing page for both current and upcoming releases, so you always have a place to stay informed.
New Release: Follow-Up Page Filtering
Have a lot of tickets assigned to you or your team? It can be hard to quickly find the ones you need to act on. The Tickets follow-up page now offers filter options for Project, Teams and Groups, Metrics, Status, and Priority, so you can zero in on exactly what matters most.
New Release: Hide Questions, Keep Your Data
Need to remove a question from a live survey without losing the data you've already collected? Now you can just hide it. One click removes the question from view, and everything you've already gathered stays exactly as it was. You can unhide it anytime, so nothing is permanent.
New Release: Expert Review
Spotting ExpertReview's suggestions in the survey editor just got easier! The icons that flag ExpertReview recommendations have been refreshed, so it's simpler to notice suggestions as you build your survey and address them before you publish. Same trusted guidance on methodology, survey errors, compliance, and data quality, just easier to spot.

New Guide: Setting Up the Closed-Loop Ticket System
We've published a brand-new guide to help you set up your own closed-loop ticket system in Qualtrics, known as the Tickets Task. This guide walks you through turning a survey response, feedback submission, form, or application into a ticket, so it can be routed, tracked, and acted on instead of getting lost in a data report.
Following this guide matters because a well-built ticket system ensures every request from the public or from staff reaches the right person, gets a clear priority and turnaround time, and stays tracked all the way through resolution. Skipping these steps can lead to missed requests, alert fatigue, or inconsistent data that's hard to report on later.
The guide covers everything you need to get started, including:
- Setting up your Ticket Team/Owner and naming conventions
- Organizing ticket data fields
- Setting up email notifications the right way
You can find all you need to know by visiting the Guide to Setting Up the Closed-Loop Ticket System.
