Legacy File Deletion Now Available!

While it is a part of our best practices to ONLY use the Media Library for managing media and move media to the trash, for special cases with agencies who may have documents that were never used but were moved onto the site or media some how getting past the sites guardrails and end up getting indexed by search engines there is now a fix for this. 

We're excited to announce a new feature that gives you complete control over your website file content. The permanent file deletion option is now available within the site file tab operation links!

Please keep in mind that this is only used for very specific circumstances because by deleting a file permanently, you ensure it's completely removed from your site which will can potentially have a negative impact for auditing or broken links from external site which can have a negative impact on your sites domain authority and search page ranking. 

ONLY Delete Files from the Files tab if the used in place shows "0"

Add item using Media Library 

Link to any Media Library Item (Linkit link)

Unpublish THEIR OWN Media Library Item

Unpublish ANY Media Library Item

Delete THEIR OWN Media Library item (goes to Trash)
