Linking to Documents

When linking to a file in text, include the file type and size so the person knows what to expect. This is most commonly done with PDFs. 

  • Download type and size (use): Download petition form (PDF, 25.2kbs)
  • Missing information (avoid): Download petition form

Always use descriptive text when linking to a document or file. Do not use the file name in text.
