We’re excited to share some great news!

We’ve been busy behind the scenes, and we’re thrilled to share a significant milestone with you. This email contains important updates, so please take a moment to review the information to understand what has happened and what’s coming next.

Driving Efforts Behind the Scenes

DX Update

  • We successfully launched 39 websites featuring feedback tools like thumbs up/down and the feedback tab intercepts, Digital Experience Analytics (DXA), and dashboards. This is a key and instrumental step forward, and we’re already seeing the value these tools bring in just a short time.
  • Our next point of focus is to improve the Qualtrics Digital Experience (DX) by learning how to listen, understand, and act on the data we’re collecting.
  • To learn more, you can visit the Understanding Qualtrics DX page.

Designated Approvers

  • Last week, directors and deputy directors received an email from Herb Sutton, our Qualtrics Executive Sponsor, requesting the names of designated approvers. These individuals will serve as the final reviewers and approvers for all surveys prior to publication.
  • This executive leadership action is due by October 15, 2025.

Resources Available

  • We’ve added a variety of helpful materials to the DX Training Website.
  • While many key links are included in the “Next Steps” section below, we encourage you to explore the site on your own to see everything we’ve accomplished and discover learning opportunities.

Next Steps

  1. Start Playing

    • You now have access to Qualtrics as a Standard User.
    • Here are some key points:
      • Who: Users who were granted access through the pilot phase, the DX launch, or were invited to the August 27, 2025, demo.
      • Access: How Do I Log In to Qualtrics CX?

        • While you're welcome to continue building and preparing content in Qualtrics, no publishing will be allowed until November 10.
        • This ensures we can stay focused on final milestones and training without disruptions.
        • Thanks so much for your understanding and support as we finish strong!
  2. Start Learning

  3. Start Ensuring Survey Compliance

    • We’ve created a guide to help you successfully navigate and pass the survey review process. As we move toward full launch and continue to learn, the guide will evolve. While the list of expectations may seem long at first, most of these requests are minor, especially once you’re comfortable using Qualtrics.

  4. Start Understanding Branding and Theming

    • We’ve implemented individual agency brands and themes to meet Iowa’s branding and accessibility standards.
