In January of 2019 Webspec presented What's New in Analytics and Intro to Featured Snippets.
This presentation explained how you can try and get Google to feature content from your site in their search results that are "Featured Snippets".
If you do a Google search for "What is the filing deadline for State taxes in Iowa" you will see a Featured Snippet for the Iowa Department of Revenue.
To get your information easily found by Google (and Bing as they are doing the same thing). Make certain to have a clear concise answer immediately below a header tag.
The length of the content direct and short. The average length for a snippet is 45 words.
