What's Changed for Authors
Navigation: Before, the main navigation dropdown had uneven spacing between items. Now, it's fixed, and all navigation items are evenly spaced vertically.
Media Library: A dropdown menu for "Topic" and a column to display topics is now visible and available in both /admin/content/media-grid and /admin/content/media.
Duplicate references: Now, no duplicate references are permitted for any of the following content types during saving - Event: Topic (Category), Contact, FAQ: Topic, How Do I: Topic, Landing Page: Topic, Listing Page: Topic, Location: Contacts, News: Contacts, Topic, Alert: Alert location(s), Document: Topic, Division/Section, Image: Topic, and Remote Video: Topic.
Behind the scenes: Numerous updates this week focused on improving the DX platform behind the scenes, aiming to create a more user-friendly and navigable experience. Some of these updates include:
- News type: There is a news type taxonomy that can be added to any specific news item. Now, the news type appears in smaller text size on an individual news item within a News teaser listing page.
- Bulk uploads: Although not currently accessible, the team remains committed to implementing the necessary alterations and improvements to enable bulk upload functionality.
