It's best practice to use the Related Files field rather than embed or create a Link Collection list to share additional related information about a topic. The main reason to use Related Files is when Drupal reports on file usage, it doesn't see or count a document if it is being used in a Link Collection. If you add your documents in the Related Files section, however, it now knows that document is being used/linked from another page and can record that usage.

Related Files are items from your Media Library such as PDFs, Excel, PowerPoint, or other Media files or documents. You can add up to 20 related files.

Related Files will appear at the bottom of your page above the footer. The Related Files section is available on Basic pages and Event pages.
